Why Us
Fully Licensed
As fully licensed electricians, we can install new and replacement air conditioning systems, relocate units, and troubleshoot electrical faults.
Qualified Fridgies
We’re also qualified to handle refrigerant – you won’t need two separate trades to install your air conditioning.
Outcome-Focused
We can help you choose the right system and unit siting for optimum performance and energy efficiency.

Building a new home? Upgrading your current property to deal with the next hot Queensland summer?
Finding the right air con installer matters – someone who can help you select the best unit, install new circuits, and make sure your electrical load is balanced correctly.
As dual-licenced installers, we’re qualified to handle both electricity and refrigerant, which means you won’t need to coordinate two different trades.
And, unlike subcontractors for the big suppliers, we aren’t limited to installing specific air conditioning brands.
We’ll act as your air con consultants, explaining the pros and cons of different units and siting them appropriately for maximum cooling.

Commercial buildings like cafés, offices, and small retail shops don’t need industrial air conditioning.
Normally, light commercial units are more than enough to maintain indoor air quality.
That doesn’t have to mean a ceiling- or wall-mounted unit, either.
Cassette air conditioners are a type of commercial system that integrates into standard grid-type ceilings, delivering the look and feel of ducted air without the price tag.
If you’re undertaking a fit-out for a retail or commercial building , get in touch with us for a quote and current lead times.
Your air conditioner should be serviced and cleaned every 12 months – sometimes more often if your unit has a high workload.
Regularly serviced air conditioners run more efficiently, are less likely to require expensive repairs, and won’t spread pollen or pathogens through your home.
As full-service electricians, we can combine air conditioning service with other annual checks (like inspecting your switchboard, RCDs, and pool equipment), making it simple to keep your home running safely.
We’re accredited by leading organisations.

FAQS
Yes, we hold a $50,000 consumer protection insurance policy and a $20 million public liability policy, which is above the minimum licence requirements in Queensland. We’re more than happy to provide copies of our policies upon request.
Ducted air conditioning is generally better ‘quality’ – it conditions your property more effectively, doesn’t blow air the way split-system units do, and runs more quietly. It’s also fully concealed, so you won’t have unattractive units mounted on your walls.
Split-system air conditioning is substantially cheaper, though. Different units are also not interconnected (unless you’re using a multi-split), which means that, if one unit breaks, you’ll still have access to air con. In some cases, they can be installed in spaces where roofing configurations mean a ducted installation isn’t viable.
Most Gold Coast electricians charge around $1,000 to install twin split-system air conditioners. You’ll also need to add on the cost of the units themselves. Three or more units will normally incur extra costs, especially if your electrician needs to install new circuits.
Bunnings, The Good Guys, and Harvey Norman all outsource their air conditioning installation to subcontractors – electrical fitters, electricians, and air con technicians. Those subcontractors often have a high number of jobs they need to get through, which means they can’t always deliver the quality of work or level of service an independent electrician like us can.
You’ll also be limited to whatever air conditioners the supplier sells. An independent electrician can help you compare different units without bias towards particular brands.
Under the Australian Refrigeration Council (ARC) licensing scheme, a split system is any air conditioner that has its compressor, condenser and evaporator ‘split’ across separate units. That definition includes ducted air conditioning.
A split system is the opposite of a packaged or all-in-one system, which houses the compressor, condenser and evaporator in a single unit.
