Unless you’re a builder we’ve worked with before, we generally won’t. The easiest way to make sure we’re available for emergency repairs is to discuss a preferred supplier arrangement with us.
It depends on our existing pipeline of jobs. We normally aim to visit sites within no more than 2 business days of an enquiry.
We guarantee a callback in under an hour on all business days. Depending on the complexity of the job, we’ll either quote over the phone and verify via email or visit the site in question. We know make-safes and repairs need to be actioned quickly, so we’ll aim to get a quote to you within no more than 2 business days.
Before we take on a project, we’ll email you and/or the insurer a clearly itemised quote that breaks down things like labour and materials. If we’ve visited the site to provide the quote, we’ll attach images of the damaged electrical installations/equipment.
After the works are completed, we’ll provide the insurer with either a certificate of testing and safety or a certificate of testing and compliance. (As required by law, we’ll also keep our copies for at least 5 years.) We’ll also take photos of the repairs and attach them to a job completion summary that you can keep for your records.
Yes, we are. Some of our electricians also hold ARC RSS03 (‘splits’) licences, which means they can install and decommission heat pumps and most air conditioners under 18 kilowatts.
