Creating a space for your business isn’t as simple as the right layout and décor.
You need appropriately placed power points, a switchboard that meets your needs, energy-efficient lighting, comms cabling, automation, and right-fit air conditioning.
And every fixture must be installed in line with Queensland legislation.
We’ve helped leading Gold Coast businesses and builders build and fit out commercial spaces like shops and offices.
Electrical installations are like any other technology – the older they are, the less efficient they are.
That matters if you want to reduce your carbon footprint or lower your operating costs.
Older installations also tend to be less energy-efficient, which can matter if you want to reduce your carbon footprint or lower your operating costs.
Upgrading to LED lighting, for example, can save the average office literally thousands per year – LEDs use up to 90% less energy than other types of lighting and last up to 25 times longer.
Schedule a free consultation to find out how you can switch to greener, more efficient installations – and how much you could save based on your historical energy data.
Air quality matters – and so do running costs.
Lower your electricity bill and keep your workplace free from potential pathogens with annual or semi-annual servicing.
Test your switchboard every 6 months to stay compliant.
We’ll push-test your safety switches and run a thermal imaging scan to screen for any other issues.
Keep your people safe with regular inspections that cover everything from emergency lighting to thermal imaging.
Depending on your insurer, certain checks (like thermal imaging) may help reduce your premiums.
Under Queensland law, your business needs to test electrical equipment at set intervals.
That includes all portable equipment, cord sets and outlet devices, battery chargers, safety switches, and cathodic protection systems.
If you don’t, you – the PCUB – will be in breach of your legal obligations.
We’ll help you establish a testing schedule to help you meet your obligations and keep your people safe.
Every test and tag we conduct is recorded on our appliance testing devices (with backup copies stored separately), making it easy for you to prove you’ve had a component tested even if someone removes the tag.
SMBs can afford to be inefficient.
The average Queensland small business spends less than $1,000 per quarter on electricity.
For large organisations with high-usage sites, though, system inefficiencies can quickly add up.
An energy expenditure audit can help you pinpoint potential savings with recommendations like equipment upgrades and better load balancing.
As commercial electricians, we focus on inefficiencies directly related to equipment or wiring – the kind of improvements that don’t involve expensive installations or complex site remodelling.
Schedule a consultation to find out more about how we approach energy audits for large SEQ businesses.
Contract us for an insurance works project or pre-qualify our team for recurring repair work.
We’ll support you and your other subcontractors as you undertake everything from emergency make-safes to large-loss repairs across both residential and commercial buildings.
With dual-licensed electricians on staff, we can help get key equipment like air conditioning, lighting, and commercial appliances operational, quickly – which means better outcomes for your client and for the building’s tenants.
We’re accredited by leading organisations.

FAQS
Yes, we hold a consumer protection insurance policy and a $10 million public liability policy, which is above the minimum licence requirements in Queensland.
No, we don’t. Programmable logic controller (PLC) programming is a type of specialised work that focuses on automating industrial equipment operations. We focus on the physical aspects of your system (such as wiring and troubleshooting), rather than programming and orchestration.
We specialise in retail and commercial projects, not industrial maintenance. Because so much industrial maintenance work overlaps with specialised services like PLC programming and instrumentation, it’s normally better to work with an electrician who focuses on those areas.
Unless you’re an existing commercial or insurance company customer, we don’t.
Exactly when electrical equipment needs to be tested and tagged depends on your industry and the equipment usage. For example, under the Electrical Safety Regulation 2013 (Qld), electrical equipment that is only used for office work must be inspected and tested at least once every 5 years (but, if it’s multi-use equipment, then at least once every 12 months). Safety switches must also be tested at the right intervals.
If you don’t have a testing schedule in place, get in touch with us as soon as possible. The person conducting a business or undertaking (PCBU) is legally responsible for electrical testing – you’ll be liable if something goes wrong and your equipment hasn’t been tested in line with legislation.
All electrical work in Queensland must comply with the Electrical Safety Regulation 2013 (Qld). It also should adhere to AS/NZS 3000 (the Australian Wiring Rules) and related standards like AS/NZS 3003, AS/NZ 3010, AS/NZ 3012, AS/NZS 3017,, and AS/NZS 3760, although legislation always takes precedence over the standards.
