Almost every Gold Coast renovation includes swapping legacy halogen bulbs for LED downlights.
They’re modern, stylish, and much, much more efficient
When we upgrade your fixtures, we’ll do the same for your GPOs.
Our philosophy: always add more outlets than you think you’ll need.
It’s easier to overprovision now than pay extra to install more in the future.
An HVAC upgrade doesn’t just involve choosing the right type of system – although that matters too.
It’s also about positioning your appliances for energy-efficient cooling and picking brands that are built for lasting performance.
As dual-licensed electricians and fridgies, we can install and decommission split-system air con systems, as well as run RCD-protected circuits for new units.
We’ll also recommend air conditioners we know perform well – basic products from big suppliers like Bunnings aren’t always the best option for a new renovation.
Many older homes have outdated switchboards – the kind with porcelain fuses and asbestos boards.
Upgrading to a modern, compliant layout that’s free from fire and fibre inhalation risks just makes sense.
But there’s a difference between an upgrade done and an upgrade done right.
When we change over your switchboard, we’ll make sure your RCDs are properly installed, your switches are clearly labelled, and your board has enough capacity for future appliance changes.
Upgrading your kitchen isn’t just about getting the design right.
You also need to choose appliances that match your lifestyle – ones that balance function with budget and aesthetic.
That could mean Bosch for a mid-budget renovation or luxury brands like Miele and Gaggenau as centrepieces in your forever home.
We’ll help you choose and install the best-fit appliances for your kitchen, which includes installing additional circuits and making sure they’re compatible with your current switchboard.
A bathroom renovation should go beyond a simple facelift.
Think about changes that could genuinely change how you use the space – additions like underfloor heating for winter, smart mirrors, and Tastic overheads.
You’ll also need to make sure your exhaust complies with the 2022 amendments to the National Construction Code.
The two big changes: your exhaust needs to discharge directly to the outside of your house (into ventilated spaces is no longer acceptable) and bathrooms without natural ventilation need minimum amounts of make-up air.
We’ll work with you to bring your bathroom up to code and create the space your home deserves.
We’re accredited by leading organisations.

FAQS
Yes, we hold a consumer protection insurance policy and a $10 million public liability policy, which is above the minimum licence requirements in Queensland.
You can expect a single general power outlet (GPO) to cost around $270. That includes visiting the site twice (once for a quote, once for the installation), purchasing the outlet and wiring, completing the installation, testing it, and issuing a certificate of compliance.
Keep in mind that installing multiple GPOs at the same time is much cheaper – they can all be quoted for and installed in the same 2 visits.
Here are 3 tips you might find useful.
Having ethernet cabling running through conduits to all rooms is expensive, but, for many homeowners, it’s definitely worth it. Category 6 cabling means your home will be future-proofed against increasing data usage, and including conduits makes it easier for you or a future owner to replace the cabling without ripping the walls apart. If you don’t have the budget for conduits, you can settle for rings and pull strings.
Yes, we can. Even if you don’t have an electric vehicle at the moment, a renovation is the perfect time to future-proof your home. Putting an EV charging port in your garage adds value to your property and means you don’t need to worry about retrofitting one in the future. (For context, almost one in 10 new car sales during 2024 were for EVs – it’s very likely that a future buyer will own an electric vehicle.)
